Dr. Bunke is a licensed psychologist who provides psychological evaluations for students aged three years old through college. Through her work as a school psychologist, she has direct experience with early intervention services, student support team resources, response to intervention requirements, and individualized education programs. She understands the value of cooperative relationships between mental health professionals, parents, and schools in helping students achieve success.
Previously, during an internship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Bunke evaluated children for learning disabilities, ADHD, Down’s syndrome, developmental delays, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also provided therapy to children and their parents.
Dr. Bunke received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of North Florida in 1992. She earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Mississippi State University in 1994 and her Doctorate Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia in 1998. She joined Gelernter and Associates in 2008.
Dr. Bunke is a Psychologist with the Cobb County School System. She lives in East Cobb with her spouse and child, and her professional affiliations include:
